I have always enjoyed games where you get to control animals in a feeding frenzy. Seeing the humans get eaten always makes me think about what I would do in such a situation. It is scary to think about, but the reactions the humans have in the game are quite hilarious. Hungry Shark Evolution is one of my top feeding frenzy game. It gives me the thrill I need. Graphics / Sound: 5/5

Hungry Shark Evolution is one of the best-looking handheld device games. The underwater world is just fantastic, and the sharks are well-designed and animated. They might look cartoonish, but I think that is what gives them character. The sound is also impeccable and quite true-to-life.

Interface and Controls: 5/5

Hungry Shark Evolution has a very user-friendly interface. It is very easy to use and convenient for the beginners. It is also very consistent in performance and doesn’t experience any glitches. The controls on this Google Android and iOS app are amazing as well. You do not have to do much to control the movement of the shark apart from tilting your phone. That’s right; the only controls are the tilt controls which are perfect for the game. This makes so easy to play!

Gameplay: 5/5

The gameplay of this iOS and Android app is very simple. All you have to do is ensure your shark eats as much food as possible. It can be sunbathers, divers, birds and sea creatures. Once the shark is completely full, you can advance to a new level or a new shark type. One thing that totally blows my mind is that you can choose from more than 20 sharks divided into 7 size tiers including the famous Great White! In this free to get game, you will also get to explore the vast Arctic Ocean, the Pacific Islands, the Arabian Sea and in the updated version, the South China Sea. All these worlds have a good number of victims who are unaware of the danger that lurks. You also get to experience all this in 3D graphics that will without a doubt astonish you.

There are a number of in-app purchases you will have to buy to get the full experience of the iOS and Google Play app for this game. These include a can full of gems (£4.99), a can full of gold (£4.99) and a bucket full of gems (£9.99). I think all the purchases are quite affordable.

You’ll probably not spend most hours of your day playing this game, but there is no doubt that you will play it over and over again. I always go back to the app to aim for the next shark on the evolutionary scale and try to gather as many points as possible.
